We can still delete some, we are not forced to validate all.
It is not just clicking on "validate all" of course.
It just make our (ok, mostly your these times ) work easier, no?

Also, two possible feature:
- Disabling that contribution feature for some users (easy to add - I just have to make small changes in the database, I plan to do that soon)
- Selecting who can validate or not, in case some admin validate without checking... but I hope it won't happen (also easy to do... but I would have to check that I made that correctly )

Note to admins : do not validate too quickly the movie
Maybe I should add something so the user can indicate that he has finished.
It is maybe better to wait few minutes/hours and see if nothing is added.

Yes, I noticed that. I was mistaken with the new one of Kegare. I updated the movie to the last completed page while he was still uploading pics.

Maybe the new contribution system could get something that 'only when the contribution is finished' is when the 'New Contribution' could go to be seen by admins. But this would be done by the provider

I think that it is best to validate only if we see a movie in that list for the second time we visit it.
i.e. wait that it becomes a little older, as I suggested.

This is mostly for non-admin who send pictures and admins who upload these pictures. So as far as I know this does not concern you much

People will just start adding pictures to anything, i.e. shows already started by someone else...

Still possible to not validate these or to notice the user. It is like when posting in the forum except that it is MUCH faster for everyone (you never process contributions, do you? )
What difference does it make compared to what people post in the forum?
We can always delete things added and not yet validated. It is like not processing forum contributions then.
And as I said above, it will be easy to block that feature to some users, if they abuse of it. Like if some put all the time too much background cars. Maybe that could even be applied to some admins

By the way, it would maybe be good to write somewhere a summary of the rules & how to use the site There are info a little everywhere (this topic, the "how to send pictures" which I updated a little, another about background vehicles and the guidelines on the site), and some info that are well known by us but not by new members (like the thing about series started by others).
So if someone has time, a well-structured summary would be welcome.
For my part, now I plan to add what is needed to block contribution rights in case we need it (as we will need it soon or later), maybe also something to mark vehicles for deletion (for the too backgrounds, with something where we can see who voted for and against), and of course a replacement of imageshack.
I hope that in the next days I'll be able to do that, but I do not promise anything, it is already a miracle that I found time for doing that new feature

Thnx antoine, good job. Its a great feature, one i had used on IGCD before. So easy to do, works perfectly and no more needing to go to the forums to add new stuff.
I'm sure us regular users who aren't admins will know just what to do. It's the newbies who may come along and just start adding anywhere that the admins will need to look for as CCF stated.

fixed... this was a bug just for admins, and of course I tested just as non-admin
