I don't think anyone is going to notice, wikipedia has never been a reliable source of information.

The site is still not known enough is the problem. There should be a direct link to the imcdb page on every imdb movie page. For example under External links 'miscellaneous' or 'photographs'... There are other databases that are automatically linked. Although probably not many people check 'miscellaneous', ideally there should be a link Vehicles. I could ask an imdb admin...

Well Wikipedia is still more reliable than many other sites.
I do not care much about the fact that IMCDb is listed or not there, but I find strange that it is deleted now since some time ago it was finally decided to be kept.
If I knew there was a vote, I could have provided links to articles (including NY Times)
Now they have lots of internal "dead links" since many cars & movies pages had a link to imcdb's page + wiki page about imcdb at the bottom, just after the IMDB link
I wonder why such deletion is done after so few votes. It looks like three people decide it is not worth listing, and it is it. We have more arguing here for some background cars than what they have their for an article with some contents

Delete basically, nobody cares about this stuff (I sincerely hope...) so it's not notable.
What a dork, he obviously doesn't like cars. Well screw him, none of his articles aren't
that interesting either
I was pretty angry with Wikipedia back four years ago - they deleted my articles because they were "fairly uninteresting" - right, so they, three hobos can decide whether an article is interesting or not? I'm sorry about my remarks, but it's people like that who piss me off from time to time...

The problem with a system where anyone can get into a position of power is that it will attract people who just want the power, not people who care about getting things done. They'd rather just exercise the power for it's own sake then follow the goals of their position.
On second thought, maybe the problem is more with people then with the system.

Don't be worry about that. As Ddey wrote, there are dumbasses there. We plate-collectors have the same problem. Our homepage is not relevant enough, they are saying - but otherwise there are several wiki-pages about virtual characters in video-games and similar junk! Pure impudence.

nice
though that it says I founded it, but I didn't really, I just took over the project right after the foundation; I'll correct that

Nice that we have a page on Wikipedia , even
Motor Trend has an article about us...
But what about the 568 pages of Unknown Wiki says we have ? Visitors will have a shock when they'll see it nearly doubled in size !
Solving all will be a lot of work..
29/07/2016 @ 13:22:09: antp: Wikipedia has rejected IMCDb!
I updated the page yesterday but the changes are only visible when I'm logged in
What's the trick? Is it waiting for some sort of validation by a Wikipedia admin because it is considered as my first contribution? (previous ones are not linked anymore to my account, after they made changes to have global accounts across all their sites)
29/07/2016 @ 13:33:18: rjluna2: Wikipedia has rejected IMCDb!
I saw your changes when I logged into the Wikipedia.
It takes a while to update the database for general view (non-user logged). Soon, it will be public by then
29/07/2016 @ 13:36:51: antp: Wikipedia has rejected IMCDb!
Ah ok logged users still see it; well that somewhat makes sense... I'll wait then
29/07/2016 @ 16:36:35: rjluna2: Wikipedia has rejected IMCDb!
I was able to purge the MetaWiki cache page for the said site. How does it look?
29/07/2016 @ 16:57:42: antp: Wikipedia has rejected IMCDb!
Seems fine now
Thanks

The italian and russian versions of the Wikipedia article still say that you, Антуан Поттен, are the creator of IMCDb.

Unfortunately, I can't correct these myself
(I doubt it would be a good idea to use automatic translation)
04/08/2016 @ 13:32:18: rjluna2: Wikipedia has rejected IMCDb!
Seems that the other language version was there before it was reinstated. Why not build a French language version, Antoine?
04/08/2016 @ 17:11:50: antp: Wikipedia has rejected IMCDb!
I could, indeed... But as it is my site I prefer not doing the page myself, it looks too much like I'm promoting my site
05/08/2016 @ 13:28:05: rjluna2: Wikipedia has rejected IMCDb!
Gotcha
