"BMW Wheels"

Hi, Adrian; glad we could talk again… I, 100% agree with you, those wheels were not normal for the 750iL at that time. I wish I knew how or why, (Stuff like this will worry me until I find the answer) but anyway, back to what I saying… The car in the showroom of the BMW Center was roped off, because it had (apparently) already been purchased and was awaiting pick-up. I remember a few details about the car but not many (1997 wasn’t yesterday). If my memory about the movie is correct, the car used in the film had Gray leather trimmed interior. The 7-Series at Schaeffer had all Black leather trimmed interior, so I don’t think it was the same car as the one in the movie (plus the dealership would have probably said something about it, but they never did) Anyway getting to the car itself; It was listed as a 1997 model. It was a 750iL with the V-12 engine. I remember it had a rather high stance to it (it sat higher than the other 7-Series’, and then there was those wheels we are talking about. One of the salesmen said the car was equipped with a special performance package, which include the wheels and different size tires. He also said the 750 was equipped with a intelligent auto-manual transmission, that was programmed to shift like a
high performance manual transmission. I apologize for the lengthy information, I sure you didn’t want to read all that, I know I wouldn’t, but I thank you for your time and attention.
