Not a request but something I've just done about the H50 Toyota Hiace from the 1980s. The versions with a longer wheelbase have an H60 chassis code, and even H70 for the Commuter. Some were entered correctly ; I've updated those who needed it.
Also, this generation of the Hiace had a facelift in August 1985 in Japan, with export models following. Most of the concerned entries have a 1986 year (as in the model year) but due to an incorrect comment by someone back in 2011, the Hiaces built in South Africa have a 1985 year instead. I've taken the liberty to correct them to 1986, like the other facelifted Hiaces.

I just went through the Challengers, so they should be ok now. There weren't many of them.
And the Chargers aren't that bad. I don't think the Racecar version gets the "Built in Canada" tag however, just the sedans.

I didn't know where to put this, but is the Nissan Qashqai british ?
https://www.aronline.co.uk/opinion/why-us-brits-should-get-behind-new-qashqai/
"The Qashqai concept originated in the company’s London Design Office, in Paddington, and was quickly developed into a production reality. The engineering of the product was conducted primarily in the UK at the company’s development centre.
Fast forward almost 15 years and the recipe has been repeated."

A few on the site are listed with EU as origin, I don't recall if there has been a discussion about that model previously

Would be possible to change the Mk name from "Series I/II" etc. to 1a/2a serie for Fiat-Abarth brand to match the corresponding Fiats?
Also, all Fiat Scudo, Scudo Combinato and Scudo Panorama should have origin France since Sevel nord vans were developed by PSA.
Thanks in advance
About the Nissan Qashqai, personally I would be in favor of putting them with British origin, as I always read that it was developed there, and it was a product intended primarily for Europe, but I don't know if this topic was already discussed.

I added Fiat-Abarth to the same group as Fiat for the "mk" formatting.
About Sevel vans, is it what we did for the other ones in the end? I don't remember what was the decision about all these.

Thanks
Anyway, not sure if a real "official" decision was taken, but currently Scudos are mixed between Italy origin/built in France and France origin (noticed that recently added ones carry mostly French origin). I think that, about commercial vans, Sevel Nord products (both generations Scudo and twins) should have French origin as they were primarily developed by PSA, with PSA mechanics and were built in France, whereas Sevel Sud products (Ducato and twins) were designed and produced in Italy.
Edit: I just checked and Expert/Jumpy/Dispatch are all listed with French origin

I think it would be better to have it in the model name

I'm 50-50 on the subject myself. Did they come out of the factory like that based on a coachbuilder design? If coachbuilt elsewhere from a standard chassis wouldn't it be better to have the description as Autofunebre Boneschi etc ? But elsewhere in other makes not always the case...
27/06/2021 @ 12:51:57: 48bux: Mass change model info thread
I believe those were always built by coachbuilders. I think separating them by putting "Autofunebre", other than to have them all together could be useful for someone, or for our resident expert AnimatronixX, to identify their coachbuilder. Of course that's just my opinion
27/06/2021 @ 13:06:31: 993cc: Mass change model info thread
I know in some American coachbuilt cars that's the case, where as you say it's easier to find because there are many many more than in this case. So anyway it's one or the other but it's better to be uniform...

I agree with
Autofunebre as description in that case.

Would be possible to change all 1997 Daewoo Lanos with Made for EU tag to 1998, as we discovered by VINs that first MY for EU specs Lanos and Nubira was 1998? Thanks in advance.

ok

antp can you please change all 1993-1997 Nissan Altima with US origin to Japan? As far as I am aware they were just rebadged Nissan Bluebirds. This, I believe, only pertains to the first gen.
We will have to manually go through the movies to see which ones were filmed in the US and which ones were filmed in Canada..if Canada received this generation.
