For the Visa, I see that many are listed as Visa II (some just as extra info).
Shouldn't all the restyled models listed as such? Or was that just a special series?

There was just one 305 with a mk.

For the Xsara, I don't know either. It seems to be just a restyling like for the Saxo.

Indeed, that the front is modified, so you can fire the Mk for the Xsara.

Placing this here in case someone wonders why a change occurred. Opel Campo debuted in 1991 as a 1992 models based on VINS.

The face lift occurred in May of 1997 and would be considered a 1998 model.

Opel uses GMs styling with regard to VINs and the 10th digit is regarded as the MY for these trucks.

Here is a great write up to manually decode the VIN. It is not perfect but it definitely provides plenty of information.

Another change I did manually was removed built in Canada for the RT 2008-2010 Chrysler Grand Voyagers as there was only a handful that I found with chassis code RT. There may be more without the chassis code though.

2007-2008 St. Louis Missouri and Windsor Ontario assembled these. Here is a VIN Spanish example we have in our database.

This also means we probably have to remove the built in tag for all other RT vans 2008-2010 without a vin…

Also, do I specify Thailand as default build-in country for those that do not have one yet, or do we prefer to keep it empty when not sure? (maybe some currently listed as origin Thailand were also known as built in Thailand)

Yes that too, and all can be move to "Built in" that didn't have one yet (same with the Ranger). The main factory is just base in Thailand.

The facelifted Visa was called Visa II, but they quickly dropped the "II" from the badges.

I'm not sure for every market, but at least here I always considered them as 2000, since very few were registered in 1999 (mainly press/demo cars or early cars for dealers), deliveries for private citizens started in very late 1999.
Also, in Brazil serial production started in March 2001 with pre-series since August 2000 (like most PSA models produced in the then new Brazilian plant) :wink:

For now I've updated them as 2000, we can change them to 1999 depending on the other comments
