Chevrolet Veraneio or C-1416?

This truck is the only one with a "chassis code": [C-1416].
As C-1416 was in fact the name of the Veraneio for the 1964-68 model years (pt), should we keep this "code" and give it to all Veraneio trucks, or would it be better to just delete it?
Incidentally, should we give the Veraneio name only when we are sure of a 1969+ model year, and the C-1416 one to earlier models? If so, this truck is misidentified...
Or maybe we could give C-1416 as name (without Veraneio) for 1964-68 models, and as "chassis code" for 1969-88 ones?
And should we give 1964 as default MY for the 40 undated trucks? If so, with C-1416 name only?

That seems a good solution.

Good question; I'd rather leave these undated then.

I know that the purpose of the IMCDb is not to replace Wikipedia or enthusiasts sites, but I hope the vehicles main page of the IMCDb next gen. will have a comment part or a text area where we can explain all these details to our readers... I think that would help us too.

Yes, there will be a space where info can be put for a make / model.
Also, the way models are handled will make easier to find those that belong to a same range even if they are named differently. They'll be organized by make>range>generation>model.

Although the 1989-94 Veraneio was made on a Série 20(1) chassis, I don't know if the [D-20] as chassis code is accurate. But if we keep it, then the 1989-94 Chevrolet Bonanza(2) should have it too, as it was the 2-door version of the Veraneio.
Maybe a Brazilian contributor could help on this?
________
(1) Portuguese writing, as seen in the Chevrolet brochure. Série 20 would maybe be more accurate than D-20, as the real name of this pickup was (pt):
(2) Shouldn't "our" 6 Bonanza trucks be given the 1989 default model year?

I thought it was what you mean with your post
If it is just the chassis used for that and not more, indeed it is probably not worth mentioning it

What about a possible D-20 / Série 20 change?

It is not very important to mention, I think. I added the D-20 to link it with the other D-20, thinking they were more related than that.

It is not very important to mention, I think. [...]
Unless we want to use the accurate name given by the make instead of the "common use" one. Somewhat like the "Apache" / "Task-Force" or the "Cheyenne" / "C/K-Series" habits, I think

They can still copy/paste (or we may get "è" instead of "é", which seems a common mistake from some Italian admins :D)

The Veraneio II and Bonanza models were made on a Série 20 basis, so they could indeed have the Série 20 chassis code. But the name was the one given by Chevrolet to the A/C/D-20 "picapes".
