Today a vintage cars race - 500 km in Slovakia started, so I visited the starting lot and saw a lot of marvelous vehicles - besides Bugatti, Delahaye, RR Phantom III, couple of mid 20s Merc's etc etc I saw this:
1912 Frontenac
owned by Luxemburgian gentleman (true enthusiast and car lover). It is a race vehicle ued in 500 Indy in second decade of 20th century. Based on Ford Model T chassis and its motor (here with 65 HP). Top versions were dohc 16 valves (in 1914!!!) with 165 HP and reaches highest speed of almost 200 km/h (OMG!!). This vehicle was saved from scrapyard in Belgium, restored and now in fully operating condition. Only one in Europe and 2 others in USA.. Pretty exciting. The owner was also very nice and introduced me the car + told me the story behind it. I would like to thank him this way, it was truly incredible.
here is me listening and owner speaking about it
Only one other vehicle, that can possibly match in rarity and beauty was this one:
1930 Cadillac V16 Fleetwood Coupé
owned by a rich collector from Slovakia (he also owns Duesenberg...). It was in truly mint condition.. It should be interesting for Mr.Cadillac - maybe this one is not in his list??
besides them 1935 Packard limo and others and others

- what a nice afternoon
