Don't know if something similar exists in the forum but with technology now we can visit some .... out of town places.... like the Lamborghini Museum.. and sometimes ' sit' in the cars like the Reventon . So i had the idea ( maybe good, maybe not ) to start a topic about it..

If you find some similar places to ' visit ' , you can put them here

Tucker car in the Toyota Automobile Museum

Other links to visit the Toyota Museum here and here

I know Honda does a lot of things.. but this was unexpected in a car museum ....

a little something for the racing fans

and another little something for the ' less-than-4 wheels ' lovers

and the famous Asimo

Its a "Honda Collection Hall" and not the "Honda Car museum". The Honda Collection would be incomplete without lawn mowers.

But imagine a Mitsubishi Collection Hall... with ships!

and TV, VCR, radios, projectors ..... and a replica of the Consol Energy Center ( home of my favorite hockey team, Pittsburgh Penguins ) scoeboard right in the middle of the place....

and a lot of products that i don't even know....

with the ships... that place would be sooo big....

Only the scoreboards are from Mitsubishi so i think everyone agrees if they just let it hanging from the ceiling (without the complete ice hockey arena around it).

They could use some old shipyard... maybe Mitsubishi likes our proposal. Lets imagine this project out completely. :sol:

Like the hanging scoreboard proposal.... maybe they can plug it and use it to show how many visitors the museum had ( and maybe some other informations about the company and various things they want to show on it )

Toyota Automobile Museum

This jewel is generally regarded as the highlight of their extensive collection. Seems they are very open-minded about including non-Toyotas - one of your pics has a Mazda R110 Cosmos and mine has a Nissan Austin A50 behind. But I suppose they have to be - apart from the 2000 GT and maybe the Sports 800 and occasional Celica - what else did they make that says in the mind for more than 20 seconds??

Yes, i was really surprised about the cars from others manufacturers than Toyota, to the point of checking the top left corner to see if i was at the good place. I was sure the place would be packed of Camry, Celica,Corolla, Tercel, 4Runner....

Don't know if it really covers the full museum or just a part of it, sometimes feeling like we're getting unable to get to some places

Wonder where the Hillman in your pic is...maybe they do some rotations with the vehicles..

It's not the same. The cars are made by Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, the TVs by Mitsubishi Electric, the ships by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. All separate entities under the same company.

I mean, Toyota also builds houses ( http://www.toyotahome.co.jp/chumon/ ), but the Toyota Museum doesn't show any of them, because it's the Toyota Automotive Museum.

Toyota build houses... :wam:

that one i ddn't saw it coming... do you have a discount if you put a Toyota in the driveway ?

yeah, we went a little far with Mitsubishi ( and the collection thing regrouping all the products wearing the name )... but it would be a BIG museum to visit...

Houses? Pff, nothing. Mitsubishi has built a museum (but nothing about them)! Its called the Mitsubishi museum but whats inside has absolutely nothing to do with Mitsubishi. Inside is an art collection.

But the background story is that Mitsubishi had built it as an replica of their old office building.

So we also need a museum inside the Mitsubishi museum.

don't know if this one ( or the other Honda collection hall link ) is the newest version ( i tend to think this one is older ) but in this one you can see a few videos by clicking on the orange flashing cameras....
But watch out for the ears, there is no volume control on those videos...
