This movie came out between 1998-2001, maybe 2002, and I think near the end the main character buys a new red Nissan Pathfinder a a red jet ski or something because he comes into some money I forget how. I only remember the scene where he gets out of vehicle and wipes a spot in his driveway.

There is a woman in the movie and she finds this hidden basement or something under his house. Someone gets murdered in his living room earlier in the movie.
