Is anyone interested in this The Asüna experiment: Canada's captive import brand vanished as suddenly as it appeared

Interesting but there is a few errors that slided in

Asüna made it to 1993 only ( if there was 1994 Sunrunner , which would be easier to spot , i never saw them except as Pontiac )

The Isuzu that should be named as Sunfire's twin is the Impulse and not the Stylus, which was the sedan

The Geo Metro did not became the Pontiac Firefly, the one that changed name was the Chevrolet Sprint ( however, Firefly's return in Pontiac's lineup in 1994 was partly due to Asüna's demise and it was sold alongside the Metro , not replacing it )

In the little ( not really documented ) Passport history , they forgot to add that the Passport Optima , a little bit like a runner stuck between the 1st and 2nd base , spent the 1992 model year as Pontiac LeMans like in the US

Apparently, the person who wrote this article did not research fully

Passport's informations are kind or rare, its almost a " you should have been there " situation...

But yeah, a simple little run on Wikipedia could have helped them a little bit for Asüna..

Mistakes are also easy to do, i forgot to specify in my previous post that the Sprint changed name to become the Geo Metro .. ( Pontiac Firefly was dropped 1992-1993 to leave all the place to Metro and for Asüna's arrival ) ..
