Nice and smooth

Yes you do not have to do anything, just wait that the domain name is translated to the new IP of the server instead of the old one, thanks to the DNS servers.
In case you (or anyone using the same ISP) did not access the site in the few hours before the change, it was not in their cache, so you do not have have to wait at all. Same if your ISP does not cache the DNS entries for a long time.
Some others may cache that for 24 (official delay) or even 48h.
A little before doing the switch I changed the delay from 24 to 1h, if I had done that yesterday it would be even more seamless for everyone

I don’t think the USA has the new site. I had my fiance try in South Jersey and she is still getting the old site. I am in PA.

It is somewhat random depending on since how long your ISP had the old address in its cache. If it was 20h old just before I changes it, you have to wait less than if it updated it just before I changed it.
I don't think that it is so much geographically-related...
The server is in Canada, but the DNS of OVH (hoster of the site and the domain) is probably in France, I don't know if it has an impact or not that European users get it updated before

I'm on the new server, seems to work fine!
P.S. I've just realised that the new contributions list hasn't been updated yet so I can't see the latest titles that have been added in the last couple of days and that they were definitely displayed there (but they are still listed on the site anyway).

I got right to the new site on my secondary PC in South NJ. Haven't tried my laptop yet.

Indeed, my bad, I forgot to update that file (for performance reason, the list of recently completed titles is just stored in a text file rather than being retrieved from the database for each page display)
edit: should be ok now

Thank you! Now I can't see the new ones I validated this morning though...

There were just a couple of titles I added in the last completed list so I can easily do it again now. Thank you!

Everything runs great so far on my part.

Still unable to access the new server

Probably that your laptop has the www domain with the old IP in its cache and the domain without www was older or not in the cache, so it took the new one.
If you are on Windows you can try to run this command from the command line:
ipconfig /flushdns
I thought that usually the DNS cache of the PC would expire before the one of the ISP, but strangely it seems to take a long time to update by itself for some of you

Mine updated yesterday around 3 or so in the afternoon. My home computer, cell phone and work computer all seemed to update simultaneously.

So in your case the "issue" was probably the DNS of your ISP

Fixed some issues with pic upload for comments, normally now the error messages are properly displayed (e.g. too big image and autoresize not enabled)
I hope I didn't break something else
