(UPDATE 17/12/09) Help Identify Diecast toy Vehicles
Published 29/02/2008 @ 03:14:26, By stronghold
As this page was getting muddled with what has and has not been identified, i've decided to give it a tidy up + add a few more.
I will now delete All the vehicles previously identified (which i've made notes of and listed who helped ID them for future credits )
Hopefully this will make it easier to see what I still need help with
Also I will replace some of the pictures which are not showing at present (Imageshack on the blink again.! )
Note:- In future I'll ad all New pics to the top of this page (here.!)
Update(3rd June 2008): Future additions will be listed at the Top of this page (Latest at the Top and those still to be indentified from previous posts below) So that when this page is viewed, you'll see the latest updates first
Now i've started work, getting my own diecast/toy vehicle website off the ground again, i'm needing help once more with quite a few vehicles without details (Make, Model, Type, Year of manufacture etc...)Some may Not be real vehicles, but maybe based on something real.!
I'd be grateful of Any help with Info on the following vehicles:-
New Update 17th December 2009:-
-------------------------------
1/ Possibly a Ford Model A Coupe? (made by Summer)

Nineth seems to be a Chevrolet Avalanche or Cadillac Escalade.
Tenth could be a Mack?
The eleventh motorhome seem ot be a Fleetwood Storm or something like that http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_29188-Fleetwood-Southwind-Storm-32-Y-1999.html
Thirteenth probabaly a Mack B-81 SX? http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_15628-Mack-B-81-SX.html
Fourtennth id say it is a mack
The Fiveteenth fire engine seems to be a Mack MB Series http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_38750-Mack-MBSeries-1986.html

7 looks like a GMC COE
8 IS an International Transtar
10 looks like a Peterbilt 387
14 IS a Kenworth T-600
13 is very tricky. Hood emblem is correct for White Western Star, but cab is more like CCC.
EDIT: I forgot about Oshkosh. See below.
Here is an example of a Diamond Rio
Here is an example of a White Western Star
But what #13 really looks like is an Oshkosh F Series

6 is an Austin Loadstar - might have been sold as a BMC, I'm not sure. The long front overhang and the toothy grille are unmistakeable.

28 could either be the Chevrolet Step Van or GMC Value Van. I tried to get a closer look at the top pic to see which one it was, and I couldn't tell.
29 is an International 3800 from 1986-2000. Yes, they did make these that far back in the 1980's.

Thanks again for any help!
I remember a Transformers clone called GO BOTS. These were Popy (div. of Ban Dai) toys imported to US from Japan by Tonka to compete with Hasbro/Takara's true Transformers line. They were sold in Europe as "Machine Robo." I didn't know anything about this other than the few Go Bots my brother used to play with. Wonders of the internet!

Well it has been a couple of months since my last update (have now taken over 1,700 pics and still can't find a good website maker.! I had previously played about with a demo version of MS frontpage, which was very good, but is also very expensive.! I've since tried lot's of internet freebies and demo's inc. Serif Webplus 8. None come close to frontpage ..and I can't afford it at present) Will continue taking photo's in the meantime.
All Unidentified/Unknown vehicles have now been moved to the top of this page. (All future additions will be placed there also )
THANKS
