Recently when I tried to get on IMPDB (Internet Movie Plane Database), I got a notice from Google Chrome, the internet browser I use, saying that malicious software has been detected and there could be a virus!

I don't know if it's just me, but has this happened to anybody else where you ended up getting a similar message or warning?

Well, let somebody notified the IMPDb web host/webmaster know about this problem

Please let me know if this has been resolved That way I can visit that site again.

They know, they are working on a fix apparently.

The site itself is not a threat, I think.
They seem to have a problem with the server or company where they host it.
If you follow a link to impdb by clicking on it, you end up on a wrong address, but if you type impdb.org in the address bar, it seems fine despite the warning message.
(I wonder what cause that problem though)

I 've received this message this morning from Tobin "Tleeg" the webmaster of IMPDB:

Your absolutely right. We should have posted up on the forum about it. We are working on a server upgrade and will hopefully be completed soon. When I know more, I will post. We have let some of the public sources like facebook know, but I realize that does not include everyone.

I can access impdb.org with Explorer, no problem, not with Firefox. I thought you used Explorer?

@sixcyl: Has the impdb.org site been resolved? Recently, I saw your link to the impdb.org added

It seems that they fixed the problems, as they mentioned on their Facebook page. Firefox does not give me a security warning anymore.

Since this is still near the top I wanted to apologize for the site being down. I started drinking for the first time. No, not really, but it is most definitely taken care of. I actually never had any issues except seeing the google message, nor did I hear of anyone else having issues. Either way, my tech team got us back up and running great. Thanks everyone for being patient and for continuing to support the movie database sites.

Does anyone know what is going on with IMPDB? Have they closed down? I just get a "Site Can't be reached" page instead. I have some aircraft to be added, but should I even bother?
