Nude pics vs Google

Today I was redirected to the Google Play store a lot of times, the record was three times in a row when clicking the unidentified and see all comments links.
I get this on my Galaxy tablet, and it takes up half the screen. I would ask to block from Androids.

Err, you have noticed my specific quoting above the pic? Have you?
I'm not complaining about pics like that, they are totally legal (and according my preferences ) - but I do complain, that this kind of advertises (as for online casinos, malware-shit, money loan offers, etc.) is very bad for the reputation of IMCDb and so for the reputation of the IMCDb-users -we all here-, too. We see ourselves as an international combo of more or less nerdic car- and also movie-freaks, who have the indeed serious aspiration to build up a serious database, which maybe even can be used as a kind of encyclopedia for vehicles in movies, even just for vehicles, too. We have so many specialists for specific items, that the total sum of our knowledge is good enough to be generally accepted as a kind of book of reference.
But this kind of chavy advertises, meant for a chavy underclass target audience, pulls down our reputation in a very bad way. I'm not the only one, who classifies and charcterizes a website (also print-magazines and TV-programmes) by the respectives advertises. When I see such chavy advertises, I put the homepage, where they are on, on the same level - and the members and users there, too!
You my call my habit prejudice, preposession, conceit or so, that's not wrong - but you always have to think about, that a lot of other people do think in the same way. So you, Antoine should be careful, that not too many people with a serious interest in our engagement get scared due this underclass-shit.
You know you can't have it both ways. You complain when Antoine is trying to delete the pics of naked women (which don't belong here and are against board rules), which is the reason that Google Ads dropped the site. You cried "CENSORSHIP". And now you complain when the replacement has lower standards. Which he wouldn't have to do if people followed the few rules here. You can't bitch about both. Pick a side and stop chastising the rest of us who are trying to clean up the site. The nice thing about Google Ads is that the website owner can choose what type of ads appear on their page. Not sure if the replacement ad placers do the same.

Hmm, I don't get Asian girls offered - but Russian
What's coming next, maybe help-calls from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/419_scams

Indeed I found that quite incredible
I'll block ads on Android until we change again the ad system.

We switched back to the ad company with which we made a test two months ago.
So now there shouldn't be problems on Android anymore.
If you notice ads causing problems or inappropriate contents, do not hesitate to report them (screenshot + target URL), as here I can easily report these.

That's completely besides the point. I doubt most of us have fetishes that directly relate to the functioning of the site

It's like years ago a member called car nerd said "Hell, I'm gay but something tells me if I put up a bunch of cocks there would be an uproar!"

The discussion on the page has been wiped, including even the non-nude pics. It seems to was sixcyl himself who removed them from his comment

Thanks, I wonder how we missed that one since it is from the pages already checked and that it was recently updated too.

Good news everyone
It seems that Google will finally re-enable ads on the site. So the cleaning wasn't useless.
And also, we should continue on that way.

Google blocked ads again. At least this time they provided a URL.
This time it was for a picture on the forum. A picture randomly replaced by tinypic.com (which re-uses images URLs).
The forum is not on the same server as the main site.
There are no Google ads on the forum.
It is a different subdomain.
But it seems that for them it does not matter.
And despite I deleted the thread with the picture, they rejected the appeal.
I am not sure of what else I could do
The box where I can write a comment when I notify them that I fixed the problem can only contain 100 characters, not easy to explain the full thing.

[...]But it seems that for them it does not matter.
They seem mostly searching ways not to pay. Maybe the Internet ad-system doesn't work that much for them, in fact...
So what will be the reason next time? People kissing in pics (maybe not married!) or brown dogs or cats appearing near the cars? By the way, shouldn't weasel1984's avatar be censured (concealed nudity)? And mine, for possible bestiality?
I think this will never end...
You said there is a need for at least 600 €/850 $ per year just for the server. There is indeed less expensive offers, depending of course of the needs of the database.
But did anyone ask if we are not enough willing contributors who would agree to contribute with 10 €/15 $ (or more) per year? Why not make a kind of foundation or association that could recover money for it? In my mind, this would be more "professional" than having ads, even if these ones are aimed to cars or whatsoever we and the other visitors are supposed to have interest in.
I give that amount almost every year to the Wikimedia Foundation. I would do it with pleasure for the IMCDb too, as I do believe this website is worth it. But don't ask me to deactivate my browser anti-ad system, as I don't want to be bored by ads when visiting a website, all the more when I like it and try to contribute to it. And also because I don't believe in this business model.
__________
Talking about "serious and professional" approach and public recognition for the quality of the IMCDb website: the main reaction when facing female nudity should be the same as when it concerns male one. Or at least less frenzied. It could be otherwise really easy to call the IMCDb website a "teenager fans website"...

My personal opinion: Now this thing has gone too far, especially when you've had the courtesy and willingness to negotiate that Google hasn't at all, and actually you've even tried to solve the problem and wasn't enough for them... At this point I were you, I'll show the middle finger to Big G.
And to avoid give also traffic data to these useless egoists, I would give up also Google Analytics, especially when there are good similar tools for free, http://piwik.org/.

Seems already more serious (and easier for invoicing) that the few other Israel-based companies that I tested previously... I'll check that
