A new refuse truck should soon appear on our screens. Meet the new Peterbilt 520:

(I'd like to know why all Peterbilt models look like CGI vehicles, on the corporate site...)

I didn't know Peterbilt works together with LEGO now. Have i missed something?

No, you did not..... LEGO is everywhere... Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones...even Scooby Doo... Was just a matter of time before they get involved in another thing...
Probably not soon in movies...unless there is a part 4 or a reboot..( or a reboot from a reboot, Hollywood's ideas tank runs on empty for a while now... )

Saw one for the 1st time on public road ( the other ones were the 2 pre-production ones at the Montreal International Auto Show.. ) a few days ago. I guess we will soon see them in movies, either in background...or most likely as a product placement

when i saw it ( i saw the rear first ) my initial thought was : what does the Forester is doing at Ford ?

Based on the previous model, only used as taxi and only visible in movies shot in Capri, the Citroën C4 Grand Picasso Cabriolet (fr, en, it):
The conversion is made by Giovanni Vernagallo, an Italian coachbuilder specialized in such transformations for the taxis of the Capri island.

The space between the top of the windscreen and the roll bar is so short, I wonder why they bothered to cut it ! I would have left that small part of the roof untouched ; it would give slightly more rigidity to that thing.

Not so recent, it looks identical to this one I took in photo in 2010:

Soon NOT to be seen in movies, Picture Car Warehouse is advertising an auction for July 23 of many of their vehicles, including several from Mad Men. Full list will be available next week.

It may be worth archiving somehow from the sites the pages of the cars put on sale, e.g. http://picturecarwarehouse.net/cars/6341/cadillac/seville/ from http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_457669-Cadillac-Seville-1985.html
as I suppose that these page will disappear from the renting sites once the cars are sold

My wife's new car (the first brand new car in her life). Ordered in late March, delivered probably end of August, early September.
But it's not such a profane white poverty-spec edition

It may be worth archiving somehow from the sites the pages of the cars put on sale [...]
I made a fast archive of the 4 pages of this mini website, but the zip file is 1.4 MB, i.e. too big to be attached in a post here (250 KB max.). I can split it if someone think this "backup" is useful...
Incidentally, I can't reach the descriptions and photos promised by the big button at the bottom of the original page (see the link in night cub's post). Did the possibility end sooner than scheduled or is it just due to a script working only with IE or Chrome? The source code of the page is written in a compact mode, I won't try to "decypher" it if not needed...
_____
About the Grand Picasso Cabriolet:
I discovered it thanks to a recent article (see the French link in the concerned post) which gives no unveiling date. I suspected the car to exist since several years, due to the basis used, but saw no use to search more.
Having it as reference here may possibly avoid a potential "Made for Movie" given as ID by some contributors?

My mistake, I read will be active until...

There is at least the specs given on the (archived now) vehicles.html
Once the exact pages known, I (or any person wanting to) can easily make an archive with WebHTTrack and clean the superfluous code in the page (Google trackers and other useless Javascripts), but where will we store it?

No, its not a mirage ( no, wait, it is one.. ) but the little Mitsubishi comes for 2017 in sedan form too. Called Mirage G4 and it's already available
Don't know how popular it will be ( not disastrous here but nothing compared to the Echo/Yaris which made you feel like you were in a Toyota dealer's backyard everywhere you go at some time ) but odds are good that we might see a few in the future
The hatchback also celebrates the coming of the sedan with a few cosmetic changes

Already on sale in Europe under the Attrage name. And even more depressing to see than the hatchback Mirage/Space Star.

Yes, the Mirage is a sad little car. At least Britain is spared the Outrage or whatever it's called.
