Ad's taking over pages

Has anybody had a issue with ads blocking the web page and blanking it out with only the ad banner in the left hand corner?

can you make a screen capture?
And also give the address that the ad targets if you click on it (right click on the ad -> copy link address)
If there are ads that do more than just displaying something in their box, they can be reported and I can block them (or ask to have them blocked, depending on their source, as we use two different ad providers).

I'll make one as soon as possible. As for a verbal description, I would click on a link and instead of it loading, it would then go to a all white screen with the box displayed prominently in the left hand corner (and no matter what, you can't exit out of it.)

Well do not hesitate to report these as I said, as I can most likely block them.

When I use the site on my phone the ad banner squeeze the links in the last completed list and the links to new contributions together making it impossible to click them or see what the say.

Sometimes it happens when it redirected to dedicated page of ad. I just use the last page to appropriate page I wanted to look. I have some offending ad redirect listed at my webpage privacy policy blocked:
adnxs.com
vindcosuite.com
I'll check the blocked page on my other computer as well.
Other times when the ad is out of location, usually below the ad banner box. I'll monitor which offending ad domain names that causes the problem.

adnxs.com is just the ad provider I think (i.e. most come from there, but redirect each to a different site), but the other one is probably more specific. However I don't know where I have to block it, as we use two different ad provider.
Hence also why I asked captures of the problems
One has a little red block with a "?" in the lower left corner, the other one does not. The latter one is probably more used for ads for US & Canada, the former one is rather used in other countries.
Ads display fine on mine in IEmobile, I should try to check on other people's phone to see what it looks like in Chrome/Safari.

Here's a shot of the problem (in this case, the ads just stop loading, leaving a blank page with "Ad Choice in the corner)

Weird, as "ad choice" is Google's ads, these shouldn't cause problem

I see what you mean. I don't know if this also affect as well when it redirect to a dedicated page on my other machine that I have it blocked from the privacy settings (it happened some time ago):
burstnet.com
rubiconproject.com
servedbyopenx.com
openx.net
I noticed there was several updates from Microsoft and Adobe Flash Player may have reduced the impact on ads that redirect to its own page for the last few months, but it does occasionally does redirected to its own page not as often as it was before.

The number in the slash also changes. A Acura ad had the number 9 just now. Maybe it's a encoding error? I've never had this issue before with any sites, especially this one.

Other people had similar problems, e.g.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/699151
But all what I found is a few years old
By the way, which version of Firefox are you using? Isn't it an old one? From your screenshot it has the style of a few versions ago it seems

On my laptop some of the ad redirected to its own page:
ip.casalemedia.com
When I hover the mouse at actual ad at its own page, it came up:
ads.simpli.fi
www.microsoftranslation.com

You mean it redirects if you just passs the mouse over the ad, and opens it like if you clicked?
Can you make screenshots of the page before redirection and after redirection?
I should be able to block these, there was previously a case like that that I reported.
