I have a 300x250 pixel video on a constant loop. It's muted by default, but still, I find auto-start videos a bit annoying.
we already had that with other providers, but I may report that one. Why is it annoying? Is it heavy to load? Or just because of the distracting animation?
Don't know if it's the new ad service, but getting lots of certificate errors and the site seems slow today. Has been freezing up on me.
certificate errors may be due to that indeed, or due to embedded images in comments.
if you can provide more details (screenshots, concerned addresses/domains, etc.) we could investigate
however ad loading should not slow then site: the ad loads after the page

I am not receiving certification error either and the site has been running well. It's faster and the pages are no longer loading forever like before

I've put back the previous ad company, as the new one was giving much lower results.
So unfortunately the "loading forever" is often back
What I could maybe do is use the new one by default for registered members only, and the old one for visitors.

I'm very sorry to hear that you've reverted back to the old ad company. Board is back to being super slow for editing.
Side note, just got redirected to a site called quizthrills.com when I tried to open a vehicle page.

"slow for editing", you mean for opening an admin page and/or for saving?
There is no ad on these pages, so when these are slow it usually means that the server has a heavy load at that time, often caused by a lot of bots from Google and others that visit the site for indexing.
The heaviest operation amongst the basic ones for a database is doing updates/edits.
For the redirection, that's more annoying I hope it won't happen more, as it is difficult to track the faulty ad (knowing which one of the two providers is the source, and even reporting it, as they may use a different intermediate site for the redirection)
The current main provider (Sovrn) is normally a "clean" one, as it is member of a group trying to separate good and bad ads, for making ad blockers that block only annoying ones (also what Chrome is planning to include in the future)

Twice I've been re-directed to dodgy looking sites when browsing the main site on my phone (where I don't have adblock) in the past few days. Both times the re-direct has come from the same source.
Here's the history from the first time:

Don't have this issue on other sites I browse on my phone.

must be a crappy ad somewhere, but as two providers are used in case of such redirection I don't know how to find from where it comes.
Our main provider is amongst the clean ad companies, and the second one seems to use only Google ads.
So a bad ad must be a case the slipped through the checks.
Did it continue to happen and so you stopped to use the site at that moment, or did it stop by itself after?

Same happens when I go on this site with my phone as well. I frequently get redirected to some "Congrats you won $1000 yada yada yada", but only on my phone and only this website. It's fine on my computer.

I've modified the tags so registered users get only ads from the main company; let me know if you still encounter the problem.

I am running Internet Explorer 11 32-bit and I got this Security Alert that it cannot be verified. This certification is issued to *.btrll.com domain name. It repeated 4 times and I clicked no at each iteration. Possibility from the displayed ad as shown at the picture attached to this message.
The dodgy ad came back and I manage to used the inspect element on the said page and found a site call: google-analytics.com
I also had the certification error same as before. This time I took a closer look at the certification information and found out that the *.btrll.com is owned by Yahoo! Inc.
I hope that helps.

Google Analytics is a service from Google that gives visit statistics, so it should not be the problem.
However for the btrll.com certification error, I should be able to report that, but it would help if you could make a screenshot of ad ID as explained here:

Thanks, but here there isn't all the info that you provided previously, e.g.:
[sovrn] Banner (440502 / a_440502_abef8ab90d6f4deb9f9bd7df2eb9a893 / 4275 / 573)
seems that it is truncated after the [sovrn] part
(the rest after "DOCUMENT CLOSED" is just the address of the original ad script)

It was the only thing I found under Inspect Element information at that time
I'll try to keep on looking for the [sovrn] Banner script if a page takes up CPU cycles and Memory resources.
