Site/Ad Issues

About the Discover ad at the bottom of the page, I was looking to see if my ad blocker was having issues and came across this:
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/80778976
So it looks like other people are expereiencing the same issue on other websites. It seems that Chrome is the culprit.
And now I'm getting ads on the Forum. Obnoxious ones too.

On the forum however it is normal to have ads on the bottom and on the sides. But that's not managed by me.

I had them since some time, but now not a anymore... Maybe they are not for everyone at the same time?

I think Google has put on a full-force attack against AdBlock Plus. I'm getting ads on all sorts of websites that were previously blocked.

This is from the ad company, it depends on your country/area. I think that some US states recently added rules about that, that may explain why you get this if you never had before.
For example since I am in Europe I get this with the first visit, for the GDPR rules.

Anyone else experiencing the "Discover" pop ad that takes control of your screen? It does not allow admins to edit or open vehicle pages until the ad goes away.
Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this ad or if other non-admins were experiencing issues?

Yes, the Discover Card ads are back in full force. Any way to ask to have them blacklisted for the site?

You can normally report it yourself, cf my post here:
https://imcdb.opencommunity.be/forum_topic-8602-88599-SiteAd_Issues.html#p88599
Have you tried this?

Apparently one of you successfully reported the ad, so they were able to block it
You may have to clear your cache in case you still get it.

I did last night. I tried the #audit. Found the overlay up top where the ad should have been and left an explanation.

Of course now the Discover Card ad seems to have disappeared and I got another to take it's place from Best Buy.

It is weird that these ads cause issues, since they are from well known companies. I guess there is some incompatibility with something that you have in your browser

I've reported the same Discover Card ad three times now

They blocked it, we'll see if it solves the issue.

The edit title page works weird on brave
As you can see, my shields (Brave's ad block system) are always down for IMCDB so I'm not sure if it's brave problem or site
I still can edit the list
However, after click Update titles, it will look like this:
Also I can't edit other existing titles unless I delete it
***Another issue?***
This happened on both brave and chrome

I think that is happening to me on Chrome. I switched, begrudgingly, to Edge and it works fine to add akas.

Very strange
As the forum and the site are completely unrelated, I don't see what could cause issues on both with missing page contents.
On the alternate titles page, can you show the page source (Ctrl+U / Command+U, I suppose in these browsers too) copy/paste that to a text document and send me the whole content? (maybe put that in a zip file, so it arrives more safely)
So I can see if it is because something is missing/modified in the page by the browser or if it is something else.

I had the same issue on the forum (in Firefox) so it is not browser-related, and unrelated to the title issue anyway. Maybe a temporary issue on the forum itself, which I don't manage anyway, if the issue continues in the next hours I'll notify the owner of the forum.
For the site however I'm curious on what causes that.
